Calvin and Hobbes

Today we got our first substantial snow of the winter season.  It's this time of year, more than any other, that we are reminded of our favorite iconic comic strip, Calvin and Hobbes.  Bill Watterson first published the comic in November of 1985 and brought it to an end nearly a decade later.  During that time he created two of the most memorable cartoon characters of all-time.  His combination of intelligent adult humor spoken through a child and an imaginary stuffed animal creates something that will never be duplicated.  Of the various themes that were prominent throughout the adventures of Calvin and Hobbes, none might be quite as memorable as Calvin's snow people.  We started looking through these today and found ourselves laughing hysterically.  Hope they provide you some laughs as well and for those of you who also got snow today, happy snow day!!
