Taxidermy Design


In our constant searching through a variety of design magazines, we are noticing more and more unique taxidermy pieces. The photo above has some more traditional examples. The photo below is a bit more unique. The sisters pictured in the photo have recently been featured in both the NY Times and Elle Decor UK. We LOVE the swans. Not too mention we thought it was cool that they shared our vision with the fencing mask right below them :)


Of course, there are some examples of taxidermy that go beyond rational explanation. Our little friend below would be one of those examples. And while he didn't make it in a high end newspaper or fashion magazine, well, we still think he is awesome!!

  1. BAH HA HA HA HA HA! The raccoon... omg! I am positively lusting after everything in this room and the way it all pulls together. I just don't have the guts to paint my walls such a dark color.
